Sublime- Sublime

If it had not been for frontman Brad Nowell's death due to drug abuse just days before the release of this phenomenal CD, it is very possible the Sublime would be one of the biggest bands out there today. This self-titled record, being the follow up to 40 oz. To Freedom, had a lot to live up to; And in my mind, it succeeds in every way. From the moment Garden Grove begins with that pounding drum beat and the lyrics about looting fill my headphones, it's like one LCD trip all the way through to Doin' Time, a slowly paced tribute to Summertime. By all means, if you enjoy rock, reggae, or ska, be sure to download this and experience this amazing CD.
